Dancing the Night Away!

Two incredible Disco events provided a whole heap of joy for many Donvale students during Term Three. FOD have been at it again, arranging two fantastically fun social gatherings for our students:

Let’s Party! was an event for especially for our Prep, Yr 1 & Yr 2 students. Wearing bright and fun clothing our P-2s danced and played and laughed for an (early) evening together in our Multi Purpose Hall. Pizza, Dessert and a whole heap of fun made this night one to remember. Parents stayed on site to supervise and enjoy each other’s company over snacks while the little ones celebrated all things fun and bright!

Glow Party! Was a more grown up style of event for our Years 5 & 6 students. Wearing as much white as they could muster – our students glowed under the ultraviolet rays! Glow-in-the-dark games, dancing, music, photobooth, temporary tattoos and of course, Pizza for days! Again, parents remained on site to gather in community while their children socialised in the Hall.

The FOD team were so grateful for the many parents who jumped in to help with these two events. From set up right through to pack down and cleaning, the support from parents was super encouraging .

Friends of Donvale, you are amazing! Thank you from every parent and student who came along to these events. You provided perfect opportunities to celebrate friendship, connection and community.

Wondering what Term 4 will bring from FOD?

Year 3s get to Flip Out together at a fun day out before Term 4 begins
Year 12s will be celebrated in style through a final Breakfast event plus their Valedictory Service with their families
Year 6s will enjoy their Night of Notables event, plus their Graduation celebration!
Our Class Reps for 2026 will be honoured and thanked for their huge efforts this year
FOD will hold its AGM on 23rd November, where committee leaders for the following year will be appointed
