Junior School Update

Year 7 2026 Statewide Transition Day
Last week our Year 7 2026 cohort participated in the Statewide Transition Day. It was wonderful to see our new students stepping into their journey at Lowanna with enthusiasm and excitement. Students took part in a range of classes and had the opportunity to meet their new classmates, with many new connections formed throughout the day.
The lunchtime BBQ, basketball games and Zooper Doopers were a hit and helped create a fantastic atmosphere in the courtyard. We commend all students for doing such a great job of demonstrating our Lowanna College values and we look forward to getting to know you all better next year.
Farewell to our 2025 Year 8 Cohort
The Junior School Team would like to wish all our students moving into Middle School the very best of luck. We are excited to see them embrace new opportunities and challenges in 2026 and look forward to watching their growth throughout the rest of their time at Lowanna.
Headstart Program
It has been fantastic to see our 2025 Year 7 students embracing Year 8 classes as part of the Headstart Program. Their eagerness to begin this new chapter sets a positive tone for the year ahead.
Year 8 is an exciting stage where students begin to explore elective subjects that reflect their interests. We look forward to seeing both academic and personal growth as they step into 2026.
Holiday Wishes
As the year draws to a close, we wish all our families a happy and safe Christmas break. Thank you for being a valued part of our school community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026!
