Sport update
– Miss Janelle, PE Teacher & District Coordinator
Our PMPS swimmers made a splash at the recent District Swimming Carnival, bringing home an impressive collection of 1st-3rd place ribbons. We are so proud of the way our students represented the school. They showed determination, teamwork and terrific sportsmanship. Congratulations to everyone who competed, you were all superstars!
We now send a big PMPS good luck to the swimmers who have progressed to the Beachside Division Carnival. We’re cheering you on and can’t wait to hear how you go on 24 March!
Beachside team:

Congratulations to Jess, our talented Year 6 student, for leaping her way to an outstanding 2nd place in long jump at the Regionals!
Her fantastic performance has earned her qualification for the State Little Athletics Championships in both Long Jump and Triple Jump.
We’re so proud of you, Jess, and can’t wait to cheer you on from afar at State!

We’re excited to share a small but meaningful update to our PMPS House system. To better align with Australian animals and celebrate our unique natural environment, each house mascot has been rebranded:

While the house mascots have evolved, our strong house spirit, values, and friendly competition remain the same. We look forward to seeing our students proudly representing their newly branded houses throughout the year!
A special thanks to Luna Tunes (AKA Liam, who's Mr Heath's cousin) for the designs.
We have a couple of fun events coming up this term:
Tee-ball Gala Day
Our Year 5 and 6 students will be competing against 13 other local schools at Fawkner Park on 20 March.
House Cross Country
On Friday 27 March our Year 3-6 students will get to run on a new course at Garden City Reserve! More information will be communicated soon.
