Dear parents and carers,
Over the past few weeks, I have been meeting individually with all staff at Keelonith. As a new Acting Principal, this has been an incredibly important part of my transition into the school. These conversations have provided an opportunity for me to get to know each staff member, better understand their role, and hear what they value most about working at Keelonith.
A consistent theme in these conversations has been the genuine care staff have for our students and their commitment to ensuring every child is supported to learn and thrive. Just as strongly, staff spoke about the culture of support that exists among colleagues. The way they back one another, share ideas and step in when needed. That sense of teamwork and collective responsibility is clearly a strength of Keelonith. I am grateful for the openness and honesty staff have shown during these meetings and look forward to continuing to build on this strong foundation together.
Now, it is the community’s turn.
To truly understand our school, it is important that I also hear from our families. Below you will find a link to a short Google Form that I would greatly appreciate you completing. The survey is anonymous and has been designed to provide space for you to share your thoughts, insights and ideas about Keelonith, what you value, what is working well, and where you see opportunities for growth.
