Student Achievements

If you’ve been following along, you’ll know these two have been making big waves in the ring!
At the 2025 Australian Schools Nationals held in Darwin at Marrara Stadium, our young champs have done it again!
Urijah claimed National Gold in the 44kg Schoolboy Division, defeating NSW on points and QLD in the final via Referee Stopped Contest! This marks his second national title, officially making him a 2x National Champion!
Izaiah qualified for the 34kg Division, but after his WA & NSW opponents withdrew, he bravely stepped up a weight class. He went down in a nail-biting 3:2 split points decision, bringing home Silver!
An incredible effort and a proud moment for both Urijah and Izaiah. True examples of determination, courage, and sportsmanship.
GSSC’s own Denzel Kazayi and Asheri Imanirunva lit up the Victorian Seniors Festival on the Riverlinks stage yesterday showcasing their incredible talent and confidence, performing to a packed house!
So proud to see our students shining so bright!
A huge thank you to Greater Shepparton City Council for providing opportunities like this for our young performers.
After outstanding performances that saw them win both the GMD and Hume Region carnivals, our Senior Girls Soccer team travelled to Melbourne to compete against the top schools in the state at the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Soccer Championships.
Although they narrowly missed out on progressing further, the girls showed amazing teamwork and spirit - taking home the Spirit of Sport Award!
Most Valuable Player: Poppie Carboon (GK)
Top Goal Scorer: Fofoa Tulimafono
Congratulations team, you’ve done GSSC proud!
