In The Artroom 

This week in the Artroom students commenced the artist study of Romero Britto a modern day “pop” artist. They learnt about his influences, inspirations and looked at samples of his work. Students will be continuing this artist study for the next few weeks with them using different art mediums to create artwork inspired by Britto.

This week, Art club has been on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Cavendish Fleece and Flower Show is coming up on the first weekend in November, some students have given Ms Brown their art entries already.

Ms Brown will be holding special art workshops each Wednesday lunchtime. There is a list on the double glass doors for next Wednesday’s workshop How to draw a LAVA LAMP using chalk pastels. There are only 12 spots for gr 3-6 so make sure you write your name on the list if you’re interested.
