VR experience

The Year 5 students were lucky enough to have Matt from Bundoora Secondary College visit us for a VR experience. As the students are currently writing science fiction stories, this was a great opportunity for the students to design either a character or a setting for their stories. Everyone loved it!

Gingerbread man cookies!

Foundation students made gingerbread man cookies!

This hands-on, fun experience involved students reading the recipe, measuring the ingredients, and making their own cookies. They then decorated their creations with icing and sprinkles. It was a fun and engaging activity that everyone enjoyed — especially making and decorating their own cookies! The students’ writing was amazing, as they described their gingerbread characters and wrote about all the wonderful things their gingerbread could do.
