Grandparents and Special Persons Day

Today saw the return of Grandparents Day. Appropriately celebrated today on the Feast Day of Jesus' grandparents, St Joachim and St Anne, it was a truly special occasion with the classrooms and hall filled with loving grandparents and special people to our students.

The students had the opportunity to share with their grandparents some of their learning, show them around the places where they learn and play, and introduce them to their friends and teachers.

The morning concluded with a lovely morning tea in the hall, where the junior choir put on a special encore performance of "A is for Adore."

We would like to thank all the parent volunteers who organized the morning tea and, of course, give special thanks to all our special guests who traveled from far and wide to be with the students today. You are all very special people indeed and mean the world to those kids.
