We have been collecting some fantastic donations from the community that will be used as prizes and items to bid on during the Trivia Night Silent Auction. VIP tickets to some school celebrations are sure to spark a bidding war!

School Disco: Volunteers Wanted!
The Milgate School Disco is one of the biggest and most anticipated P&F-run events of the year, and we need your help to make it a success!

This year's Disco will be held on Friday 11 September at the Milgate Stadium, giving students the opportunity to dance, have fun with their friends, and create lasting memories with their peers. This much-loved event simply cannot go ahead without the support of our wonderful parent and carer volunteers, and we sincerely appreciate any time you can offer.
Timing Overview for Events and Volunteers
Junior Disco (Foundation–Grade 3 | 5:30pm–6:30pm)
Senior Disco (Grades 4–6 | 6:45pm–7:45pm)
Disco set up (2:00pm–3:30pm)
Hanging decorations, setting up water stations, moving furniture
Junior Pre-Disco (5:00pm–5:30pm)
Ticket registration and sales, phone drop-off and outdoor crowd assistance.
Senior Pre-Disco (6:15pm–6:45pm)
Ticket registration and sales, phone drop-off and outdoor crowd assistance.
Disco Pack Up (7:45pm–8:00pm)
Volunteer roles include:
- Ticketing (registration tables and ticket sales)
- Door entry point (ticket checking)
- Phone drop-off and collection
- Decorating
- Crowd control/security
- Outdoor pre-disco crowd assistance
- First aid (current First Aid qualification required)
- Photography
- Water station
- Quiet room

Volunteer Registration Form
Volunteers will be allocated to one or more roles based on their availability and the requirements of the event. We will contact all volunteers approximately two weeks prior to the Disco to confirm their role(s) and provide further information.
Important Information
- All volunteers must hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). You can apply for one here - https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children and bring it into the Office for school to keep a record.
- For the safety of our students, only registered volunteers will be permitted to enter the Disco. Parents and carers who are not registered to volunteer will not be able to access the event during the sessions.
- If you are available to assist with pack up between 7:45pm and 8:00pm, please indicate this on the registration form.
