Student Wellbeing

From the Co-ordinator of Counselling and Student Health
On Tuesday 12 May, Pittwater House students and staff recognised International Nurses Day. This day is a time to recognise and honour the nursing profession, and the vital role nurses play in supporting our community.
At Pittwater House we are incredibly fortunate to have two highly experienced registered nurses on staff, Nikki Kuga and Ingrid Scouller. Their genuine care and compassion for our students ensure that every health need is understood and met — from cleaning the tiniest scrape to responding to serious emergencies. They’ve transformed the Health Centre into a safe, welcoming space where students feel comfortable sharing what’s going on for them.
Their dedication extends beyond students. Nikki and Ingrid have supported countless staff and visitors with the same empathy and respect. We are deeply grateful for their unwavering care.
On behalf of the school community, I express my appreciation and thanks to Nikki and Ingrid. Their compassion and commitment make a remarkable difference to Pittwater House every single day.
