Week 1-2 Alumni connections with the students
In Term 3 Week 1-2 we will invite HPS alumnus to come in for school tours, share experience through talks and visits and respond to student question cards/letters.
Week 3- Monday, 3rd August Past and Present Dress-up Mufti Day
Students are invited to come to school in outfits and fashion through decades. No gold coin donation required.
Week 3 - Wednesday, 5 August
Open Day
- Performances, open classrooms
Week 3 - Saturday, 8 August
Community Fair
- History and Archives Displays, rides, food, music, entertainment
Term 4 2026
Week 3 - Thursday, 29 October
Alumni High Tea
- Alumni will be invited to celebrate the school at a high tea at the school.

History & Archives: A Journey Through Time
As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we are proud to present a curated look into the HPS vaults. Our History and Archive displays from Monday 03 to Saturday 08 August 2026 will offer a rare glimpse into the school’s long standing legacy through three distinct collections:
- Original documents and photographs on display dating back more then 100 years to the first decades of the 20th century.
- Original student work and reports dating from the middle of the last century.
- Displays of teaching resources used throughout the later half of the 20th century.
