Around the Classrooms

Grade 1/2L

Our Year 1/2 students had a wonderful time celebrating Italian Day! The classroom was filled with colour and excitement as students dressed up in the colours of the Italian flag. Some students got creative by dressing as pizza makers, while others transformed into the famous Mona Lisa!

Throughout the day, students participated in a range of fun and engaging activities that helped them learn more about Italian culture and traditions. They put on their dancing shoes and enjoyed Italian dance lessons, before treating themselves to delicious pizza and gelato. Students also challenged themselves with Italian word searches, building their vocabulary while learning some new words.

For our arts and crafts activity, students created their own gondolas, inspired by the famous boats found in the canals of Venice.
