Production 2025

OH, WHAT A NIGHT!

Wow! Production day was just incredible!!

Well done to all of our students for braving the stage and putting on two fabulous performances! It was simply amazing to see their smiling faces, their dynamic dance moves and their sensational singing. The St A's staff are so proud of all the hard work that our students put in this year in preparation for the production. It really paid off on the day!

I want to highlight our main cast students, who have spent the last 8 months putting in a huge effort, learning their songs and scenes and giving up lunchtimes to rehearse. I am incredibly proud of them all and I am in awe of their talents! I have already had so much lovely feedback about their performances from our community! I feel very lucky to have had such dedicated and talented students to create this show with.

Thank you to all the staff members who supported me in creating and putting on this production. Many contributions were made throughout the process, from creating props and costume elements to stepping into technical roles on the day and everything in between. I am so grateful to have colleagues who are willing to step in and lend a helping hand wherever possible.

A special thank you to Miss Bishop, who helped with so many logistical elements behind the scenes, as well as assisting in rehearsals and creating our programs.

And, of course, a big thank you to Mrs K, who spent countless hours creating class costumes and set pieces. If you've seen us around in recent weeks you may have witnessed our unintelligible production related conversations - we've both been on the same level of delirium! Somehow we both managed to understand each other perfectly and create a sea (if you'll excuse the pun) of colour and fun!

Thank you also to our wonderful community volunteers who gave up their time to assist us in the lead up to the production, and on the day itself. We are incredibly grateful for your costuming assistance, your prop donations and for helping us with backstage elements.

Thank you to my husband, James, who acted as our stage manager again this year. I am very grateful for his expertise and efforts!

A special thank you also to Jenni Osburn, who created some fabulous lead character costumes for us! We're so lucky and ever so grateful to have her and her amazing skills as part of our community.

And a big thank you to Lucy Kenshole, who helped us again this year with choreography, rehearsal and backstage assistance. Her passion and expertise are second to none and we're very grateful for all her help!

Lastly, thanks to all of you who joined us in the audience on production day; everyone who bought a ticket and came to watch our students shine. There's no way we could put on a production of that scale without your support!

Time for a well-earned rest for this Production Team!
