This term, our Year 5 students have been reading The Grandest Bookshop in the World by Amelia Mellor – a captivating fantasy novel set right here in Melbourne. The story is filled with riddles, magical twists and turns, illusions, and incredible places, all woven through a journey of personal growth and the importance of family.
To celebrate and extend the themes explored in this novel, we are excited to announce an upcoming excursion to ArtVo in Docklands, Melbourne. ArtVo is an interactive gallery where students can step into and become part of incredible illusion-based artworks – a perfect connection to the magical and imaginative world they’ve been exploring in class.
Some of our Grade 6's participated in a touch rugby tournament and had a wonderful time!
Thank you to all of the student's who participated in the readathon, we raised a staggering $3,313!!
That is over double what we were hoping for!
Let's see if we can beat that number next year.
A messege from Beleza -
"Please note that all stores will be closed From Saturday 20th of September until Sunday 28th of September. We’ll return to our usual trading days and hours across all stores from Monday 29th ofSeptember."
We will be retaking the whole school photo on Friday 10th October.
Students are to wear full summer uniform.
Thursday morning we had some very special quacking visitors. A proud duck family waddled in with around 10–15 fluffy little ducklings for a photo shoot! 🐤💛
If you spot them around the school, please enjoy watching their cute waddles, but remember — no chasing! Let’s keep our feathery friends safe and happy.
