Year 7 Badminton

We sent 12 year 7 students to compete in the Year 7 Badminton round robin at Kilsyth Sports Stadium. We had 2 girls’ teams and 1 boys’ team. The students had been training hard at lunchtime and in PE lessons. Our B girls team and boys team won a number of matches throughout the day. Our A girls team were undefeated all day. They beat Ringwood 5-1, Mooroolbark 5-1 and finally Norwood 5-1. All students showed amazing Melba pride. The girls will compete and Eastern Region in August. Student involved were Rita, Vilvaa, Liv, Eh Khu, Rishika, Holly, Ada, Tilly, Quinn, Ethan, Jack and Hamish.
