Division & Regional Cross Country
On Thursday 3rd June, 13 of our students made it to the Darebin Division Cross Country meet at Bundoora Park.
Weather: Cold, raining, light breezes
Track Condition: Very hilly, soft and muddy
Once again, our competitors did very well in their own races and represented us wonderfully as a school! Congratulations to you all, results are as follows:
U10 Girls: Emily 11th (9:47) and Siena DNF
U10 Boys: Pat 26th (9:47)
U11 Girls: Adele 20th (15:47)
U11 Boys: Archie 21st (13:25), Salvadore 22nd (13:36), Oliver 24th (14:12) .
U12 Girls: Alexia 2nd (12:48), Siera 14th (15:00), Emma 23rd (16.01), Lena DNF.
U12 Boys: Matthew 2nd (11:26), Isaac 21st (13:13).
Matthew, Alexia and Emily all finished in the top 12 places in their respective races, securing themselves a starting position at Northern Metro Regionals held at Bundoora on 17th June 2026.

U10 Girls: Emily 46th (9:41.88)
U12 Girls: Alexia 24th (13:32.14)
U12 Boys: Matthew (DNS, due to injury)

Commonwealth Games Celebrations
Next term students will be celebrating the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games in their PE lessons by participating in modified games and activities that mirror the 10 sports on offer.
“Comm Games Lunchtime Club” will be offered on Wednesday at second break for anyone (Prep to Year 6 and Staff) who would like to join in the fun of other optional activities.
Wednesday 15th July: Sports Match Up - Find out which sports will be showcased at the Commonwealth Games this year.
Wednesday 22nd July: All the Countries! All the Flags! Create a fun display and learn geography as well – who is a Commonwealth Country? Why is it a Commonwealth Country? Where in the world is it!?
Wednesday 29th July: Colouring - In Competition - Come to the competition to find out the rules and criteria of how you can colour your way to win some ripper prizes!
Wednesday 5th August: Commonwealth Games Trivia - Study up the display on the glass wall of the hall to ace the questions at a fun trivia lunch!
