World Teachers Day

On the 27th October our school celebrated World Teachers Day. It was a great opportunity  to celebrate the teachers at Echuca Twin Rivers Primary School, who are making, or have made, an impact on your child's life.

Year 6 Community Outreach Day

On Wednesday 1st November all our year 6 students attended the Community Outreach Day. Students travelled to headspace, fitmob and either Echuca College or St. Josephs College, depending on which school they are attending next year. All students had an amazing day, showing our school values and learning lots.

A huge thank you to Nicole Cavallaro for her organisational effort for both the Year 6 Community Outreach Day and Year 5 Leadership Day

Year 5 Leadership Day

“The ETRS LifeChanger journey kicked off with our Year 5s on this day! A fun-filled day, learning all about Leadership in preparation for 2024.

A huge thanks to Nelson, Ash, Rach & Jack from LifeChanger Foundation”

Hands On Learning Open Day

The HOL team worked tirelessly on Thursday to put on a successful Open Day for family, friends and supporters of our HOL program. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who has contributed in some way to helping us get our HOL space where it is today.

Students prepared a 3 course meal for almost 50 today. Starting with mini cob loaf dips, moving onto spaghetti bolognese and followed up with chocolate brownie with strawberries, cream and ice cream.

Lots of positive feedback was received, including this lovely message:

“You should be very proud of what you have achieved with those kids. You have done a sensational job with them! It was a great day, they were very polite and obliging to everyone and I only heard positive feedback from all that were there. The kids seemed to be enjoying themselves too. Great work!”

Huge congratulations to Nat Harvey, Kimmie Lucas and Barry Dixon as our HOL Leaders.

Monday 6th November - student free day

This is a student free day. Staff will be onsite working through curriculum planning, assessments and reporting on this day.

Whole School Assemblies

All ETRS parents/families are invited to join our whole school assemblies that occur fortnightly on Mondays at 2:30pm. Please enter through the front office of the school and sign in upon arrival.

Uniform

Thank you to our students and the support of our families in ensuring our students are in full school uniform every day. Our students look great in our uniform, and it helps develop pride and a sense of belonging. Uniform spot checks will happen throughout the week.

Black pants and shorts are not part of our school uniform. As part of our uniform policy, all shorts and pants must be navy blue. Students arriving at school, who are not in uniform will be provided with the opportunity to wear school uniform and a phone call may be made home.

Planning for 2024

This time of year, we continue to plan for the 2024 school year. If you have any requests related to your child's wellbeing, please email them to echuca.twin.rivers.ps@education.vic.gov.au. Please note we do not take individual requests for teachers.

We understand that at times families may move for a range of reasons. If you think you may not be attending ETRS next year, please email us as this will help support us with planning for 2024.

2024 Enrolments

All enrolment documents are available to download from our website. You may also contact the school and we can send the information to you via email or the post.

If you know of any families who are interested in enrolling, please ask them to contact the school. Thank you to our families who are getting the good word out in the community about our school, word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising and consequently, we are fielding an increased number of inquiries about our school.
