Respectful Relationships

As part of the Wellbeing Curriculum implemented across Sandhurst Schools each fortnight we will share topics being covered in the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program.
Foundation
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Preps are learning Problem Solving techniques and they are talking about friendly and unfriendly decisions and how they affect others.
Grade 1
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Ones are learning about “Positive Coping.” They are learning strategies to help them deal with different emotions and problems that arise in the yard or the classroom (and home).
Grade 2
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Twos are learning about “Positive Coping.” They are learning strategies to help them deal with different emotions and problems that arise in the yard or the classroom (and home).
Grades 3/4
In Respectful relationships, students are developing a definition of what it means to have a problem. They will describe actions and skills that are used in teamwork and develop a list of problems that children around their age may experience and how might they solve them in the Topic ‘Problem Solving’,
Grade 5 and Grades 6
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade 5s and 6s have been looking at ‘Positive Coping’ during our RRRR lessons. In particular, discussing strategies they could use when faced with difficult or challenging times in their lives.
