FOD: Have you met our Stalls Team?

Our motto, our purpose, our heart is “Building Community”. 

We create opportunities for our school families to connect, 

get to know each other and build relationships so that we can 

all support each other as we grow in community.

It is a privilege to continue to introduce you to the outstanding members of our FOD committee. I hope you have been enjoying the recent profiles in our Networks during Term Four. 

This week is timely to chat about the people who make our Mother's & Father's Day stalls happen every year! If you would like to get involved in this year's stall, make sure you reach out to Brenda and her team below.

Meet Brenda, FOD Stalls Team Leader

Name: Brenda Ringwaldt

Role: Stalls Team (together with Lisa Osborne)

How did you join the FOD committee: I've been on the Team since June 2021. I joined FOD because when your kids are part of a school, your family receives an incredible blessing through what is poured into your kids. Being able to give back in a tiny way and help grow that community is such an amazing privilege.

How would you describe the role of FOD Stalls Team Leader? Stalls involves all the fun of coordinating the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls from finding and buying the items we sell, to gathering donations and coordinating volunteers, and then running the stalls!

What does your day-to-day involvement include? The busy periods for the Stalls team are March to May and then July to September.

Tell us about your time commitment: Most things can be done in the evenings but I’m constantly on the look out for things we can sell. It gets pretty busy the week before and the week of the stalls.

What do you love most about this role: The kids LOVE the stalls. Seeing their faces beaming as they choose something they think their parents would love is priceless. It's also an amazing way to meet other parents at DCC.

Share your goal for remainder of 2025: The Father’s Day Stall is coming up soon so we are looking forward to another fun event for our community.
