AI in Education Symposium 

Explore safe and ethical generative AI strategies at the first statewide AI in Education Symposium, hosted by the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership.

An in-person event which will be simulcast across Victoria, this is a vital opportunity for school teachers and leaders to join colleagues from across the government, Catholic and independent sectors and explore how generative AI can be used safely, ethically and effectively to improve teaching, learning and workload sustainability.

The symposium will showcase evidence-informed practice, local and international research, and practical tools to support schools to lead on AI.

Format: Full day/hybrid 

When: Friday 24 April, 8:45 am – 3:30 pm

Where: 603 Queensberry Street, North Melbourne VIC 3051 and simulcast to regional Academy centres across Victoria
