The College was celebrated at the Learning Environments Australia Design (LEAD) Awards, attended by Deputy Principal, Mr Kim Forward at The Forum Theatre.
The awards celebrate, The spirit of innovation, embodied by intentional collaboration and a willingness to push boundaries, underscores the essence of communal learning, resulting in outcomes that are not only impactful and inclusive but also profound.
The College was the co-winner of the New Building (Large) Category and was then named as the overall winner from 8 categories of Educational Facilities from around Australia.
In summary, the Aitken College project stands as a shining example of excellence in learning environment design, embodying the principles of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability while laying the foundation for a vibrant educational future. The panel congratulates the school, community, and architects for achieving a high-quality outcome.
