Office Update – Term 4 Events & Account Credits
As we look ahead to Term 4, there are a number of exciting events and activities coming up, with event permissions and payments being communicated to families throughout the term.
If you are unsure whether you have any remaining family account credits or CSEF funds available to use towards upcoming activities, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I can check this for you.

Spare Clothes
We recommend that families pack a spare change of clothes in their child’s bag, particularly for younger students. A spare set can be helpful in case of bathroom accidents or spills. Due to the wet weather, we have also had a lot of student slipping in the mud and puddles and needing a change of clothes.
Please note that while the office may have some spare clothing available, we cannot always guarantee that suitable spare clothing may be available when needed. Having a spare set packed in your child’s bag ensures they have something comfortable to change into. We have no spare pants in size 12 or larger, so any older children who slip in the mud while playing in the rain will have the wear their wet and dirty clothes until the end of the day.
What to pack?
- A complete spare set including underwear, shorts or pants, a top and an extra pair of socks.
Bag for wet clothes - include a plastic bag or wet bag so clothes can be stored safely inside their school bag
Alternatively, families can opt to pack just a spare pair of pants in case students fall on the wet ground.
Kindly ensure that individual clothing items are labelled with your child’s name to ensure it finds its way home.

Volunteering in School
To volunteer at Parkhill everyone requires a valid Working With Children Check and has to complete a Volunteer OH&S Induction. We keep a record of those who have fulfilled these important requirements.
Under the Child Safe Standards, ALL volunteers must have an appropriate induction and training in child safety and wellbeing. This includes familiarising themselves with the policies, procedures, and code of conduct outlined in our Child Safety Induction Pack. The induction is completed annually to ensure all volunteers remain up to date with current requirements.
Your induction is completed online on CompassCheck. If you have not already done so, you will need to register and update your Working with Children Check (WWCC). Once complete, it will save time when signing in at the Compass kiosk as you can sign in with your mobile number!
Please remember to sign in at the Compass kiosk and pick up a visitor lanyard on arrival. You will also need to sign out and return the lanyard when leaving. It is important that we know who is on our school grounds in an emergency.
