Lord,
as the winter frost settles on our playground,
let Your Holy Spirit warm our hearts.
Help us to share that warmth with our classmates through kind words
and helpful hands today and always.
Amen

Our Captains, Sarah and Connor, along with Mrs Holland, Mr O'Toole and Mrs Mitchell attended the Deanery Mass at St Nicholas Church. The Reverend Bishop Murphy and the Clergy lead a beautiful Mass with a large number of schools across the diocese.

Last week we celebrated Catholic Schools Week and planted many seeds. In 2026, we aren't just waiting for the future to happen to us—we are making it. Every time we are brave enough to try a hard maths problem, every time we include someone who is lonely at lunch, and every time we say a prayer, we are watering the future.
God doesn’t just want us to have a 'future'; He wants us to have a Hope-Filled one. A future where you use your voices for good and your hands for helping. Thank you to everyone who made the week so special!

Parents of students making their Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation) are invited to the Parent Information this evening.

In the spirit of St Mary MacKillop’s reminder to "never see a need without doing something about it," we are launching our St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. As we rug up against the cold, let us keep those experiencing hardship in our thoughts and prayers. We are collecting non-perishable canned food to support local families. We ask that each family sends one can to school with their child to place in their classroom basket. Your small act of charity will bring immense comfort to someone in need this winter.

To continue our support for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal we invite our St Joseph's School community to wear their PJs to school and donate a gold coin.
