Neurodiverse Parent Support Group

Palm Beach Neighbourhood Centre is introducing a new online Neurodiverse Parent Support Group for parents and caregivers of neurodiverse children and young people.

This group offers a welcoming, non-judgemental space where parents and caregivers can connect with others who understand their experiences. It is an opportunity to share what has worked, exchange practical tools and trusted resources, and build local connections, while feeling less alone on the journey.

From time to time, practitioners and community service providers will be invited to join the group, giving families the chance to ask questions, learn about available supports, and form meaningful connections with those who can help. The focus is on empowerment, building confidence, and supporting families through shared lived experience.

The existing face-to-face group will continue to be held on the first Monday of every month at Palm Beach Neighbourhood Centre. The new online group is a complementary option and will run fortnightly on Thursdays, commencing 29 January at 5.30 pm.

All parents and caregivers of neurodiverse children and young people are welcome to join.
