Learning Community Prayer

Prayer is an integral part of the day. We encourage and welcome parents to stay in the Learning Communities to participate in Morning Prayer. When the first bell rings at 8:57 a.m. the lights will be turned off and everyone is expected to settle quietly, ready to pray.

We ask that families maintain a prayerful silence during prayer. Please do not unpack your child's school bag or clear their lockers. Please supervise toddlers who are expected to be quiet and stay with their parents. It is not a time to play with classroom items, even though that is tempting!

Parents are invited to contribute to prayer via special intentions.

At the end of prayer time, the children will wave goodbye to their families; this is your cue to leave the Learning Community.

Beginning of the Year Mass

Welcome back to the 2026 school year. We will be celebrating Mass on Friday, 6th February at 9:15 am in Corpus  Christi Church. Families are welcome to join us as we join together to ask for God's guidance this year.

A Prayer for the New School Year

Bless us as we start this new year with our friends and teachers.

Help us to make the most of every chance we have to start afresh.

May we show love to one another and to all.

May the new beginning of this school year remind us that you give us chances

to start over again and again.

Help us to forgive others as we receive

your forgiveness.

Help us to learn and to work together.

Help us to listen when we should

and to know the best words when we speak

and when it is better not to speak.

We thank you for our friends. Help us to be good friends this year.

Help us to be patient with ourselves

 and with others.

Bless our school and keep us safe.

Be with us as we travel each day.

Bless all those who care for us

in school and at home.

Help us show our care for them

and to say sorry when we need to.

Amen
