Gala Day Stage 2 - Soccer

On a crisp spring day the Stage 2 students lined up to play soccer at the Tamworth Gala Day.  The Sapphires and Opals took to the field with enthusiasm and gave their all in four round games over the course of the day, with many students trying out new positions for the first time.  We even found a familiar face at the fields - Mr Beaumont!  Our day culminated in a St Michael's vs St Michael's game where the Sapphires finally got their long awaited goal without hitting the post!  We were wondering if the ball was magnetic during the day!

Congratulations to the Stage 2 students for their beautiful behaviour and wonderful sportsmanship -  win, draw or lose.

Thank you to Miss Martin, Miss Downes, Mrs Catlett and Mrs Shepherd for their efforts over the day in running the teams.   Lots of fun was had by all.

Gala Day Stage 2 - Netball

Our 5/6 students and four Year 4 girls showcased incredible teamwork and sportsmanship on the netball court, competing against other schools in the Diocese. With a mix of wins, losses, and draws, they played their hearts out and made us all proud.

A special shout-out goes to Miss Rasche, who did a wonderful job as the Junior Netball Convenor, ensuring the day ran smoothly and successfully for everyone involved.
