Operation Art Exhibition - On Display Chatswood

Our two SFX Ashbury artworks are on display there and they look fantastic!

Congratulations to Year 5 students Lucia Accardo, Sarah Nakhle and Daniel Szabo, and Chelsea Chang, Alessia Florian, Arianna Pascuzzo and Sienna Ribeiro, whose collaborative artworks are currently on display in the Operation Art Exhibition in Chatswood.

Willoughby Mayor, Tanya Taylor, opened the exhibition, saying she was honoured to support this meaningful exhibition of joyous and engaging artworks by school students from across NSW. She commented on the students’ creativity and talents and thanked them for their generosity in being involved in this project. The 320 works on display in Chatswood aim to make the audience smile and they certainly succeed in doing this!

Our two bright, colourful SFX artworks are on display at Art Space Gallery in Chatswood until 28th June.

Stage 3 Printmaking

Year 5 and 6 students have been exploring the natural world through printmaking. Using foam boards, they carefully scratched leaf, floral and insect designs into the surface before applying ink and printing their creations onto paper. Students thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on process and were delighted to see their unique designs come to life through this exciting artistic technique.
