Feast of the Sacred Heart- Friday 12th of June

Gallery Image

Tomorrow the 12th June at 9:15am, our school community will gather in the Church to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, a day that invites us to reflect on the deep and unconditional love of Jesus for all people. The image of the Sacred Heart reminds us that Christ’s love is compassionate, generous, and always open to those in need.

This feast has long been connected with acts of service and charity, as Catholics are called to imitate the heart of Jesus by showing kindness, mercy, and care for others. As we come together for Mass, we pray that our own hearts may be shaped by His gentle, welcoming, and full of hope.

We warmly invite all families to join us for this special celebration tomorrow morning as we honour the Sacred Heart and ask Christ to guide our school community in love.

St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

Thank you to the many families that have contribute to our Winter Appeal so far. This important initiative provides practical assistance to individuals and families in our community who may be experiencing hardship during winter.

We continue to invite all families to join us in demonstrating compassion and generosity by donating items that will help those in need stay warm, comfortable and supported throughout the season. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

To ensure a variety of essential items are collected, each house has been allocated specific donations:

  • Merici House – Tinned food items such as soup, baked beans and spaghetti
  • Purcell House – Basic toiletries including shampoo, conditioner and body wash
  • McMahon House – Warm track pants or leggings for children aged 4–12 years
  • Ursula House – Beanies, gloves and socks for children aged 4–12 years

We kindly ask families to continue send donations with their children over the coming weeks. All items should be new and in good condition. These can be given either to the classroom teacher or brought straight to the office.

Thank you for supporting this worthy cause and for helping us live out the Gospel values of kindness, service and care for others. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most this winter.

Final Reminder of Class Masses for Term 2

We recently celebrated our Kindergarten and Year 6 mass last Friday with wonderful participation from students and parents alike. A huge thank you to the teaching and parent community for their continued support of our Parish events and living the faith with our students.

We have many more opportunities for parents and students to celebrate Mass. These celebrations are a beautiful way to support your child’s faith journey and to pray alongside them as a community.
