Over the last two weeks, I have enjoyed seeing our new students for 2026 at their Kindergarten transition. Thank you to our team of teachers and educational assistants who have made this possible. On Wednesday this week, we have two Family Information Sessions to help our parents prepare our new students for Kindergarten life next year at "Big School".
Our Primary SRC came with me to the Inverell Remembrance Day service on the 11th of the 11th. They were fantastic representatives of our school for one of their last official duties!

Next week I am looking forward to spending some time with Year 10 at Copeton Dam before their week of Work Experience or their attendance at the Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Melbourne. On the Friday night we will host our first Year 10 Family Dinner and Dance at the RSM. This has traditionally been a graduation dinner but will now become a evening to celebrate our students and their families connection to the school
I am also super proud of our primary tennis team who made it to state titles in the Todd Woodbridge Cup. Read about the teams in the Sport section. What an achievement from our students, staff and families!
Planning for class groupings and finalising staffing levels is a complex but essential task at this time of year. We have received a number of enrolment applications for most year groups across K-11.
We kindly ask that any family who knows their child will not be returning to our school in 2026 notifies the school office as soon as possible.
This timely information is critical as it directly impacts our ability to offer places to waitlisted families and to accurately determine our class groupings for the new school year.
We are in the final stages of finalising our 2026 staffing structure. We are committed to ensuring we have a dedicated, skilled, and stable team in place to support the learning and well-being of every student. We anticipate being able to share a preliminary class structure and key staff appointments in the coming weeks.
The final instalment of our 2025 school fees is due this Friday 21 November. Thank you to all our families who have paid their fees regularly this year. The 10 instalment process seems to have been a successful model. If you are unable to have the fees paid by this date please contact me via Cathy in the Front Office or by email jrainger@arm.catholic.edu.au so we can make arrangements.
Attached is the ACS Bursary application for secondary families.
