Religious Education

During the holiday break, Australia recognised NAIDOC Week (6–13 July), a time to celebrate and honour the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a Catholic school, NAIDOC Week reminds us of the importance of listening deeply, walking together in respect and reconciliation, and recognising the rich wisdom and traditions of the world's oldest continuing cultures.
As we begin the new term, we would also like to thank our school community for your incredible generosity throughout the first semester. It was wonderful to finish the term by celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart together with Mass, reflecting on the love and compassion of Jesus that inspires all we do as a school community.
Through your support of Project Compassion, we have been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Your generous donations to Caritas Australia through Project Compassion are a wonderful reflection of the Sacred Heart values we strive to live each day. Thank you for helping our students put our values into action through compassion, generosity and service to those in need.
Winter Appeal
A heartfelt thank you to all of our families who generously donated to our Winter Appeal in support of St Vincent de Paul. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference to individuals and families in our community who are doing it tough during the colder months. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful support shown by our school community. Your donations are a beautiful reflection of the compassion, generosity and care that are at the heart of Sacred Heart. Thank you for helping us live out our faith through service to others.
