Year 6 explored what it means to be a well-rounded and healthy person, recognising that wellbeing involves more than just physical health. Through their PDH learning, students investigated the main areas of wellbeing: physical, mental, spiritual and social and emotional.

For their Father’s Day Chapel, they put their learning into action by organising a series of fun challenges for dads and father figures, with each activity representing one of the areas of wellbeing. From a soccer challenge and blindfolded LEGO building to Father Feud Bible trivia and bobbing for apples, there was plenty of teamwork, laughter, encouragement and friendly competition!

Wonderful work, Year 6 and great job to our dads to who participated in each challenge!

Amity College MathsCup Competition

This week, our Year 6 students, Rai B, Joshua D, Olivia G, Benjamin G, Benji R and Jaxson S and had the exciting opportunity to attend the 15th Annual Amity College MathsCup, competing alongside students from almost 85 schools across NSW.

Throughout the event, our students did a fantastic job representing our school, demonstrating teamwork, perseverance, problem-solving skills and maintaining a positive attitude as they tackled a series of collaborative, challenging, fun and unexpected mathematical activities.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students embraced each challenge and represented our school with enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship.

Well done, Year 6!

Reminder: Permission forms needed for Camp

For our families in Years 4 to 6, a friendly reminder to please return all required camp forms as soon as possible. There are three separate forms to be completed: the Permission Form, Medication Form and Dietary Requirements Form.

Please ensure all applicable forms are completed and returned promptly to assist us with finalising arrangements for camp.

Full Summer Uniform

With spring here and warmer weather arriving, students are welcome to start wearing their summer uniform from week 8 (week starting Monday 14 September).

During this changeover period, students may continue to wear either their full summer uniform or full winter uniform*; however, items from the two uniforms should not be mixed. We ask families to please ensure students attend school in one complete uniform each day.

Full summer uniform is to be worn from the first day of Term 4.

Thank you for your cooperation.

*For girls, stockings can also be worn with the winter uniform.
