From the Principal

I hope everyone had a relaxing long weekend and made the most of the amazing warm weather. It was a great opportunity to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the sunshine.

Grade 5 and 6 Beach Program 

Our Grade 5 and 6 students recently completed the Beach Program, gaining valuable water safety knowledge and practical skills. Throughout the program, students participated in a range of activities including beach games, team challenges, relays, and ocean awareness sessions. A key focus has been building confidence in and around the water, learning how to read beach conditions, and understanding the importance of staying safe in an open water environment.

Division Swimming

Congratulations to the PPS swim team who competed at the Division Finals on Tuesday. The team performed extremely well and demonstrated fantastic team spirit throughout the event. Thank you to the parents for supporting their children and helping make their participation possible.

Helmets – Bikes & Scooters

A friendly reminder that children must wear a helmet when riding a bike, scooter, or skateboard to and from school. Wearing a properly fitted helmet is an important safety requirement and helps protect children from serious head injuries. Please ensure your child brings and wears their helmet every day if they are travelling to school on wheels.

School Council

Our first meeting of the new council is on Monday 16th March which is the AGM.  At this meeting, the Annual Report will be tabled. Community members are welcome to attend the tabling of the annual report, please let the office know if you will be attending. Once finalised the Annual Report will be made available to the school community via the website and our newsletter. 

House Cross Country

Our house cross country for children in Grades 3-6 will be held next week on Friday 20th March at Gerry Green oval.  Parents are welcome to come along and support the children. 

Friday 20th March Grandparents/Special Visitor Afternoon

Grandparents and special visitor afternoon will be held next week on Friday 20th March from 2:45pm-3:30pm. 

I will be on leave from Monday 23rd March until the end of term. I hope everyone has a great end to the term.
