Foundation News

It has been a busy term in Foundation. We have been growing in independence, making new friends and navigating our way around the playground. 

We have been practising counting forwards and backwards, creating lots of amazing repeating patterns and learning all about time!

We have read stories and have been using story grammar icons to retell information about who the characters are and how they are feeling. 

Some of our favourite things about school so far have been playing the hoop game in P.E, making new friends and lunchtime! We also loved finally meeting our grade 6 buddies. We found out lots of cool things about each other and ate our lunch together.

We also had a visit from Fire Rescue Victoria! It was very exciting as we got to go on the fire truck and use the fire hose. Fire rescue Victoria taught us all about fire safety, especially at home.
