ST MONICA'S ATHLETICS
Our St Monica's Athletics was a huge success on Monday 23rd March!
Well done to all our students who showed determination, great sportsmanship and a willingness to give different activities a go.
Congratulations goes out to Mercy house who came home with the Athletics Championship. We had some outstanding individual performances from our 2026 Age Champions who were awarded with medals to recognise their efforts.

Being able to use the technology of the timing frames allowed us to get accurate results for our track events. Well done to the fastest 8 students over 100m from St. Monica’s who made our digital ‘St. Monica’s Gift’.

One of the hardest parts of putting together a sports carnival is making sure we have enough help to make the day run smoothly. If you have not yet helped at a sporting event, we strongly encourage you to put your hand up next time. It often gets left to the same parents/grandparents who would also like to go and watch their children.
We want to extend a HUGE thank you to our volunteers who gave up their time to help our carnival run smoothly this year. You are very much appreciated, and we know that we couldn’t have these special days for our students without you!
