Senior Report

In Literacy this fortnight, students have continued to focus on two types of writing; Narrative and Persuasive in preparation for their NAPLAN.

Throughout the fortnight in Maths, students have completed a number of lessons on Angles, refreshing their understanding and extending their knowledge. This week students have began their final task for the Angles Unit - they will be designing their own house and will be marked on their creative flare, the number of angles used and their ability to use a protractor to accurately measure an angle. We hope to then create dioramas of these houses!

CAMP

This week we have been on camp with Inglewood Primary School. The camp has been so much fun and we have really enjoyed making new friends with students from another school. Some of the highlights have been Archery, Low Ropes Course, Canoeing, Raft Building, Bush Cooking and Bush Art.

NAPLAN

Well done to our senior students who completed NAPLAN assessments over the last two weeks. All students should be very proud of their efforts with NAPLAN.

ART

We have finished constructing our Colour Wheels and don't they look amazing! Exactly what the Art Room needed - a bit of colour and fun. We have continued to learn about Warm and Cool Colours and how they can make us feel. Stay tuned for some egg-cellent Easter art!
