Grade 5/6 Winter Sports Day – Tatura 2025

On Thurs 3rd July, our Grade 5/6 students will take part in the Winter Sports Day held in Tatura. This event involves students from local schools coming together to enjoy a day of friendly competition and teamwork. On the day, students will be participating in football, netball, or soccer matches.

After arriving and being welcomed, students will be placed into teams and take part in a variety of games throughout the day. It's a fantastic opportunity for students to demonstrate sportsmanship, build teamwork skills, and enjoy friendly competition.

Event Locations:

• Soccer – Tatura Park
• Football – Tatura Park 
• Netball – Tatura Netball Club, 9 Hastie St 

Event Timeline:

• 11:30 – Schools arrive and move to play areas
• 11:35 – Welcome, housekeeping, and team organisation
• 11:45 – Matches begin
• 1:00 – Lunch break
• 1:30 – Games resume
• 2:00 – Matches conclude and return to TPS
• 2:05 – Thank you
• 2:15 – Schools depart

There is no cost for the sports event however, a charge of $7 per student for the bus. Please complete the permission form on Xuno from tomorrow.

Students are welcome to bring their own footy or soccer boots if they have them. If not, regular runners are perfectly fine.

Please ensure your child comes to school in their school uniform, with a packed lunch and a water bottle. We’re looking forward to a fun-filled day of sport, teamwork, and enjoyment!
