Updated equipment in the Quiet Yard - Thank you TreeHaus!

At Newport Lakes Primary School, we know that play is more than just fun—it helps students learn, explore, and build important skills. That’s why having tactile building equipment in the yard is so valuable. When children use blocks, planks, or other hands-on materials, they develop creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and fine motor skills. These activities also give students a chance to relax and recharge during breaks, supporting their wellbeing and focus for learning. Simple, hands-on play can make a big difference in a child’s day!

Newport Lakes PS would like to thank the team at TreeHaus Williamstown for their generous donation as part of their Walk A Mile In My Shoes initiative  , which was used to fund the fabulous new outdoor equipment in our quiet yard.

Some of our students have already taken full advantage of our new extra large waffle blocks, which have been added to our outdoor Lego equipment. You will see below that they have been coming up with some amazing creations!
