A Prayer for Fathers

Heavenly Father,

you entrusted your Son Jesus,

the child of Mary,

to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.

Bless all fathers 

as they care for their families.

Give them strength and wisdom,

tenderness and patience;

support them in the work they have to do,

protecting those who look to them,

as we look to you for love and salvation,t

hrough Jesus Christ

our rock and defender.

Amen.

Fathers' Day Celebrations

I hope all our Dads and Dad-like figures had a wonderful Fathers' Day. It was such a blessing to see so many Dads, Grandfathers and Uncles at our Breakfast and Prayer service earlier this week. I hope all those who attended enjoyed the experience. Many thanks to the P&F for organising the breakfast and to Year 2 and the teachers for organising the prayer service.

Mrs Parsell's Retirement

I hope that you are able to join us on Tuesday 22nd September for mass and morning tea to thank Carolyn for her leadership at St. Martha's and her career in Catholic education. Mass will begin at 9:15am in the church followed by morning tea in the hall. 

If you have not RSVP'd yet, please do so by the end of this week for catering purposes.
