A note from our principal 

End of Term 3

As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to congratulate our students on a fantastic Term 3. Across the school, our students have consistently demonstrated our Woodlands values and continued to live our “Be Your Best” motto through their learning, relationships and participation in school life.

It has been wonderful to see the academic, social and personal growth of our students throughout the term. From the many camps and excursions to sports days, learning experiences and opportunities to connect with others, there have been so many highlights to celebrate.

A particularly special highlight was our Woodlands Primary School 30 Year Anniversary celebration. It was a wonderful community event, with hundreds of past students, families and staff returning to Woodlands to celebrate this significant milestone. A huge thank you to Laurence Hall and his team for their tremendous work in organising the day and helping make it such a memorable and successful celebration of our school community.

I would also like to thank our parent community for your ongoing support, encouragement and engagement in your children’s education. Your partnership with the school plays such an important role in supporting our students to thrive.

Finally, a sincere thank you to our staff for their continued hard work, care and dedication to our students. The commitment of our teachers and support staff to the academic, social and personal development of every student is something we should all be proud of.

I hope all members of our Woodlands community enjoy a safe, relaxing and well-deserved break. We look forward to welcoming all of our students back to school on Monday 5 October for the final term of the year.
