Sports at Woodlands 

What a fantastic Term 3 it has been for sport at Woodlands! Our students have proudly represented the school with enthusiasm, teamwork, determination and outstanding sportsmanship across a range of competitions.

🏉 A huge congratulations to our Boys AFL 9s, who progressed to regional level, and our incredible Girls AFL 9s, who made it all the way to State level, narrowly missing out on the day. What an amazing achievement!

⚽ Our Boys Soccer team also had a fantastic campaign, just falling short at Division level after a great effort.

🏐 Congratulations to our Girls Netball team, who successfully progressed to regional level — another wonderful achievement for Woodlands!

🏀 Our SSV Basketball teams enjoyed a successful day, with an impressive eight Woodlands teams proudly representing our school.

🏃 At District Athletics, around 70 Woodlands students competed, with approximately half qualifying to progress to the Division round on 20 October.

A huge well done to every student who represented Woodlands this term. Whether you competed at District, Division, Regional or State level, we are incredibly proud of the way you represented our school.

Our PE legends are looking for a new and updated design for the WPS Footy Guernsey!

Use the guernsey template and guidelines provided, then hand your completed design to your teacher to place in Mr Pascazio’s pigeonhole.

We may combine ideas from several designs or choose an outright winner to be the next Woodlands AFL jumper.

Make sure you follow the guidelines and include all the essentials needed for the design.
