Science Week & Book Week Parade

Friday, August 25

What a hive of activity the Centre has been over the past few weeks.  From magic rainbows, rocket balloons, colour explosions and gigantic volcanos the children have certainly been challenged to think beyond of the what but the how and why things happen.  Some days it felt like the little scientists could have stayed and played all day to work through all their wonderings.

How fabulous it was to bring our Book Week to a crescendo on Friday as we joined the school's Book Week Parade!  How brave the children were in waltzing over to school and marching through the corridors.  It is simply a joy to be with this energetic and imaginative group of children.  A BIG congratulations to the Green Team who made their way to school for the very first time.  They have been practising walking with a friend and staying safe along the way, and we could see that this time and effort paid off.

Thank you to all our families who came along to cheers us on at the parade and for the efforts made to create all the fabulous costumes!
