Maths at Westgrove:

Matific Maths Olympiad Competition:

Westgrove Primary School will be competing in the 2025 Matific Maths Olympiad Competition from the 11th to 15th of August this year.

By completing maths activities and earning stars in the award-winning Matific program, your child will keep progressing in mathematical competency and help themselves, their class and their school compete for trophies and recognition!

The online platform is available FREE of charge for all participants. Your child's class will be taking part at school, and your child can compete while at home, too.

All students get certificates and a chance to win a Samsung tablet! 3x Samsung tablets are up for grabs in the draw!

Usernames and passwords will be sent home with students before the competition starts.

Fortnightly Westgrove Maths Competition:

This semester we are continuing to award a prize to one correct entry for both problems.  We encourage you to solve these as a family and have your child place the answer with working out into the Competition box (Now currently sitting outside the new sick bay).  Winners will be announced during our Morning Briefing each Fortnight.  This fortnight's entries are due by Friday the 13th of August.
