Welcome to term one!
We are very grateful to the families who watered our kitchen garden throughout the holidays and checked in on our chooks, what a wonderful school community we have!
Despite the extremely hot weather, we have plenty of basil, cucumber, eggplant, sweet peppers, zucchini, potatoes, carrots and corn as well as lots of seeds for us to save! AND.... plenty of weeds to keep us busy.
SAKG SESSIONS for 2026
Wednesday - Juniors
11:30 - Ms Flynn 1/2s
12:30 - Mrs Rankin Foundation
2:20 - Mrs Brooks 1/2s.
Thursday - Seniors
9 am - Ms Manners 3/4s
11:30 - Miss Condrit 5/6s
We will continue to alternate kitchen and garden weeks, with our first cooking session for seniors on Thursday 19th February. If you would like to volunteer this term, please book via the link below. (I understand the link still says Term 4 2025, I'm yet to work out how to change this!)
Finally, we invite all SAKG volunteers to join us for a coffee at 'Three Belles' on Wednesday 25th February at 10 am to say thank you. If you would like to be involved in kitchen or garden sessions as a volunteer, you are most welcome to come along to find out all about the program.
