VCE News

As another term rapidly comes to an end, our VCE students are undergoing exam preparation talks during mentor classes. Key Knowledge Traffic lights, Deciphering exam questions, as well as surviving the pressure of last couple of weeks and exams. 

Planning is also well underway for both Graduation and the students last couple of days – including their final day - Celebration Day – this year’s theme will be “Pop Culture”. Celebration day will be held on Tuesday 20th October, with a dress up day, breakfast cooked by the teachers and a trip out to Curlewis Driving range. This day is a lot of fun as we celebrate the culmination of classes.

Just a reminder that some subjects will run special school holiday revision sessions. More information will be given in our next bulletin – but these may include on-line sessions provided free of charge by the school or in school sessions to be held in the blue buildings.

2027 Year 12

2027 Year 12 jumper orders are now open.  All families and students were emailed last week with the link.  Cost is $90 per jumper and each student is allowed 14 characters on the back (including spaces) for their name.

It is a 1/4 zip jumper made out of the same material as the WHC sports hoodies by Indigo Wolf, so sizing will be comparable. 

VET Sport and Rec 2nd Year Excursion

On Monday 31st, 2nd Year Sport and Rec students went on an excursion to the Indoor Courts at Geelong Indoor Sports Centre. Students have begun their final Unit, Delivering Recreation Sessions. Students planned, and delivered a modified recreational game, with a focus on participation. This is the final Unit of the course, and it has been fantastic to see their confidence grow in leading groups.
