Year 5

Year 5 Welcomes Prue McCarthy from Social Futures

Last week, Year 5 students were fortunate to welcome Prue McCarthy from Social Futures for an engaging session. Prue worked with students to develop their understanding of disability, inclusion and the importance of recognising each person’s strengths and abilities.

Through thoughtful discussions and activities, students explored some of the challenges people with disability may experience and considered ways we can help create a community where everyone feels valued, respected and included.

We thank Prue for sharing her experiences, knowledge and insights with our Year 5 students. Year 5 are looking forward to welcoming her back for a second session in the coming weeks.
