Payment for Incursions and Excursions

Parents we remind you that since June 2024, MPS was required to become a cashless school. This decision was made for a variety of operational reasons, including the closure of local Bank branches and risk mitigation.

When payments are requested for school incursion or excursions, they can be made via direct credit to the schools account or via EFTPOS at the front office.

Lunch specials that are offered from time to time are made available through the P&C Association, which is not operated by the school and a cash option is offered for these. Payments for these are NOT to be made to the school's bank account.

WA Student Assistance Payment

The WA Student Assistance Payment helps parents and carers with cost-of-living pressures associated with sending their children to school.

All Western Australian school students in Kindergarten to Year 12, with a valid WA student number, are eligible for this cost-of-living payment.

You can claim $250 for each secondary student and $150 for students attending primary school or Kindergarten.

The payment will be available through the Service WA app, with parents and carers encouraged to set up or update their Service WA account and have an active Digital ID.

Claims open on Monday 20 July 2026.

All claims must be received by Friday 25 September 2026.

Eligibility

Eligible students must be enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 12 at a Western Australian public school, non-government school or registered for home schooling and have a valid WA student number (WASN).
