Dear Parents / Caregivers, Staff, Students and Friends,
On Tuesday evening I was fortunate to join Fr Jophin, Megan Flynn, Carolyn Brooks and family and friends of our students who are going through the sacramental program. The sacrament of Reconciliation was received by our candidates during our liturgical celebration in the church. Congratulations to Sanjo, Jetter and Sonny who received the sacrament and continue their sacramental journey throughout 2025.
Please join me in the following prayer for first reconciliation:
Dear Jesus, my good shepherd,
I believe that you love me and watch over me always,
You know that sometimes I am not the best that I can be and that I need your forgiveness.
At times, I am a lamb that is lost and I need you to bring me back into your loving arms,
Jesus, my good shepherd.
I do love you and I am sorry for my sins.
Thank you for loving me.
Amen
Last weekend it was a privilege to attend the closing night of the SMOTA production, Rock of Ages. The show was thoroughly enjoyable and the music very familiar to those of my vintage. Furthermore, I would like to point out that a couple of St Francis alumni students who graduated in 2024 were on the stage ‘doing their thing’. On behalf of the St Francis community congratulations Jordy and Pippa – well done!
