Hoop Time

On the 3rd of September some of the year 5s and 6s went to Casey Stadium to participate in hoop time.

Hoop Time is a program for kids to play basketball against each other. We had 2 teams, the all star girls team which was called ‘Dolphins’.

And the rookie team which was called ‘Dragons’.  The rookie team got 3 wins and 1 tie,the all star girls got 3 losses and 1 win.The all star team got to participate in the Hoop Time finals which they placed 3rd in.

The rookie team won most of their games but didn’t have a final because rookies are not an all star team so they weren’t able to have a final.

After that we watched another school's grand final which was Grayling Primary school versus Tooradin Primary school. Grayling ended up winning but we were still cheering on.

After that we went outside to wait for the bus to take us back to school but the bus was 25 minutes late but we were patient and waited for the bus to arrive. But even though all of that happened we still had fun.
