Our SIS Chess Team made fantastic strides at the SIS Chess Tournament this term. Both the Junior and Open Division teams placed 7th out of 14 schools, an excellent improvement on our previous standing and a reflection of the growing strength of our chess program.
A special congratulations goes to Harikailash K, our MVP of the Open Team, who placed an incredible 2nd overall in the Open Division. The final round came down to a nail-biting finish, and their focus and skill kept us on the edge of our seats!
We also celebrate Ballin S, our MVP of the Junior Team, who not only played consistently well but also guided and encouraged team members along the way. Their leadership and sportsmanship were key highlights of the day.
We are very proud of all our Chess Team members for their dedication, teamwork, and representation of the College. This improvement is a fantastic stepping stone for even stronger results in the future.
