The students returned from holidays with GREAT energy and have now well and truly settled back into school routines.  This is an extremely busy term for school so it is very important that children are in attendance every day (unless unwell).

Our teachers will commence creating 2026 class lists this week, these will not be finalised until the end of term however if you have any special requests that you would like admin staff to consider when finalising class lists, please email  admin@goondiwindiss.eq.edu.au as soon as possible.

Our transition to school program has been underway all year, with the culminating activity, Gundy Gumnuts, commencing on Wednesday for our 2026 Preppies.  We are looking forward to welcoming the children into our school and building strong relationships with them and their families.  If you have not yet enrolled your child/ren for school next year please contact the office on 46777333.

Our transition to High School has also been underway for most of the year, with most recently our Y6 students attending the Expressive Arts session at the cultural centre which was a GREAT experience for the children.  GSHS staff will be visiting the Y6 students over the coming weeks to talk to them about 'life' at GSHS.

Monday is our Grandparent/Significant Others morning for all year levels.  The morning will commence with assembly at 9am, followed by a look into the classrooms and then a light morning tea back at the hall, for the adults.  Unfortunately, I will be away for this event, but I encourage our Grandparents/families to come along.

A reminder that all children need to be in school uniform every day (with no exceptions).  The uniform includes the school hat and we remind families to label all children's items of clothing (including lunch boxes and water bottles).  Lost property is located outside the office door if your child loses any items.
